Island Lake features exclusive access to our clientele. We are an experienced outfitter providing New Brunswick 's finest native Brook Trout fishery which is enjoyed each year by our returning clients. Whether veteran or novice angler, employing spin fishing or fly fishing the lake produces well all summer long. Island Lake spans 388 acres of water surface, with exceptional fishing opportunity throughout. Guides are not required and camp staff are available to advise the current hotspots.

The remote wilderness area surrounding our Island Lake camp site offers exceptional opportunity for both Moose hunting and Black Bear hunting. We have exclusive access to some of New Brunswick's finest and remote Black Bear hunting territory to help make your New Brunswick bear hunt a successful one. Combination Bear hunting/ trout fishing trips are available during mid-May/June. Feel free to contact us for more information regarding these unique combinations. New for 2024 we are offering accommodations and guiding for Wild Turkey hunters. Our family has spent the the last 35 plus years- the majority of the spring, summer and fall right here "in the woods", we possess a long-standing knowledge of these areas and only use the services of experienced guides to maximize the chance of clients having a successful and fulfilling hunting trip with us. With our physical base of operations near hunting areas commute times to hunting areas are minimal. For our U.S. friends, our location is approximately two and one half hours driving time from the U.S./ Canada border crossing from Houlton, Maine to Woodstock, New Brunswick.
Island Lake provides the perfect location for your family or group vacation​! As the weather warms the lake provides an ideal opportunity for swimming, kayaking and canoeing. There numerous roads and trails to be explored on mountain bike, dirt bike or ATV.

We had an awesome summer family getaway at HH Outfitters! The lake is stunning, the lodges are well equipped, and David and Alanda did everything to ensure we had a successful fishing experience. The kids also enjoyed dirt biking on the trails, swimming in the lake, lawn games and nightly bonfires. We cannot wait to return!
